Last week, Good Samaritan, Inc. continued its mission to extend a helping hand to those in need — providing food and clothing to 330 individuals and 34 local high school students across Orange County and surrounding areas.
Each week, we see firsthand the difference this support makes. But with the recent furlough affecting many local families, the need for assistance has grown even more urgent. Parents who were once donors now find themselves needing help, and more children are relying on us for daily meals and basic necessities.
Our food pantry and clothes closet have become vital lifelines for neighbors who never imagined they would be in this position. Every grocery bag and every warm coat handed out brings comfort, dignity, and hope.
However, meeting this growing demand requires community support. Our shelves are depleting faster than ever, and financial donations are urgently needed to keep up with the increased requests for help.
How You Can Help
Donate today — even a small contribution helps us purchase food, hygiene items, and essentials.
Volunteer your time — help us pack, sort, or distribute supplies.
Spread the word — share our mission with your friends, family, and coworkers.
Together, we can make sure that no one in our community is left hungry or without the warmth they deserve — especially during times of uncertainty.
Thank you for standing with Good Samaritan, Inc. and helping us continue to be a beacon of hope for families in need.
